Wisdom From Our Community
“Wisdom From Our Community” posts were originally shared on the Alliance of Hope Forum for Suicide Loss Survivors and are reprinted with the authors’ permission.
Our online forum is a compassionate community where people who have lost loved ones to suicide find understanding, connection, and hope. Operating like a 24/7 support group, the forum is supervised by a mental health professional and moderated by a trained team of suicide loss survivors. Members can read and respond to posts, share their stories, and connect with others who understand this unique grief.
Today, our forum hosts more than 28,000 members from around the world. We are a diverse community of survivors helping survivors, united by our shared humanity and the experience of losing a loved one to suicide.
Whether you choose to post or simply read the posts of others, you will likely encounter something that informs or guides you in your healing journey. Our community gently reminds us all that:
-
- You will survive.
- You will gain insight.
- You will find comfort.
- You will find friends.
- You are not alone.
