The Story of Alliance of Hope is about a woman’s desire to offer a platform of hope. She saw a need and a niche for an entire population of people who were lost and alone, even in the midst of a crowd. She understood, through her own loss and exhaustive experience in the art and science of counseling, and she proffered a caring hand to hold.
She developed and evolved a platform that allowed a community to build, to be heard, to play a role in, and in turn support. At our “big bang”, few around us know how to show the critically needed arms and shoulders of strength and empathy to navigate a reality that—let’s face it—was never for a moment a real consideration as we understand it now.
The Alliance of Hope Forum is a place of witness.
It is a space to hold the moment and allow it to evolve beyond its original form. It is a universe of galaxies, black holes, and unexplored worlds, and it is brimming with sparkling stars. Each and every star has a story. It has form and substance; it is every one of us. Some are seen, some exist behind the veil, and some power the energy that makes it all work.
We are all Alliance of Hope; a universe filled with shining stars and unfolding realities.
We exist in real-time, but it can feel like time stands still in our surroundings. Our lives are told and retold by the interpretation of those looking in and out, including ourselves, as we see who we are now, and sometimes by someone we’ve yet to meet.
Every story matters.
Every survivor’s post is seen and witnessed, every heartbreak is felt, and every achievement is celebrated. We are a unique constellation of stars gathered together to form a galaxy of strength and care. I thank every member for their time, care, and contributions to making this a safe place for me to exist.
The Alliance of Hope is currently running its annual “Sponsor the Forum” Fundraiser. There are just a few days left to help us reach our goal. Please donate if you can. If you or someone you know has another avenue that could support this effort, please reach out to them today to help. You can donate here.
Thank you,
Heidi
