In Remembrance of Preston L.

Preston Clark Lieser, 15, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 11, 2020 at his home. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Preston was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rodney Lieser and his paternal step grandfather, Ambrose Dingmann. Preston was an active member of First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain and an accomplished Boy Scout, having earned the rank of Life Scout over the summer. He loved being outdoors whether he was camping, hiking, or canoeing. He enjoyed working with his hands and was always learning new things. His zest for knowledge allowed him to share his many talents with younger Scouts. Preston was an avid reader and enjoyed history, especially World War II. He was an accomplished computer gamer. Preston possessed a servant's heart and was always willing to do whatever he could to help anyone. His compassion for people was evident in the way he treated everyone. He befriended people from all walks of life. Preston was always active in church and willing to do whatever job needed to be done without question or hesitation. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend. Preston's love, friendship, and spirit will be missed by his family, his church, his fellow scouts, and the community as a whole.
