In Remembrance of Matthew Craig
1987 - 2019No words can describe the pain and agony we felt getting that phone call. Not a day goes by that my family and I don't think about my brother.
Matthew was an avid hunter. He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins. I will always remember us listening to Social Distortion, Skillet, and Breaking Benjamin together. He's Social Distortion's number one fan in heaven. He had a beautiful daughter, who he loved with all his heart.
We all have such fond memories of Matthew. Him going hunting with our dad and grandpa. Our mom being walked down the aisle by him when marrying our late step dad. Our sister and him playing games outside. I will always remember Matthew teaching me how to slow dance when we were younger.
Those are just a handful of memories we have of him. The memories of him will never die.
I hope he's up in heaven, looking down on us, and proud of us all.
I hope your mansion in the sky's got a ten acre field. With some mud and some hubs you can lock in. Make some thunder, make 'em wonder how you got in. Hide your beer, hide your clear from the man upstairs. Crank it loud, hold it down 'til I get there. And when I do, i hope you got some new stories to tell. 'Til then, give heaven some hell.
