In Remembrance of Marcelo Malka Y Negri
1987 - 2017I lost my son Marcelo on 09/30/2017. Marcelo was an amazing, very sensitive and generous person. He usually would help his friends with theirs personal problems but he wouldn't talk about his own. He suffered from depression since around he was 16 years old. At that time, my husband and I would take him to a group therapy but when he went to College, he refused to do any treatment or take any medication and instead, started using drugs and alcohol. No need to say that he just got worse during the years, in and out of AA, a few years of sobriety but never really happy with life.
Everybody that knew him always thought Marcelo was a very happy, funny guy, very nice to be around. He was an awesome plastic artist and a musician as well as a massage therapist.
He will be always be missed very deeply by his family, wife and friends.
When I die give what is left of me away
to children and old men that wait to die.
And if you need to cry, cry for your brother walking the street beside you.And when you need me, put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give me.
I want to leave you something, something better than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I've known or loved, and if you cannot give me away,
