In Remembrance of Linda LaLuz

1959 - 2014

Remembering Linda LaLuz

As we gather in unity on this page, I wish to honor the memory of my beloved mother, Linda LaLuz. Her spirit, kindness, and undying love were the guiding light in our lives, and her absence has left a void that words cannot fill.

My mother battled silently with her pain, a testament to her strength but also a reflection of the isolation many facing mental health struggles experience. Her journey ended in a way none of us could have anticipated, and the loss we feel is immeasurable.

In sharing her story, I hope to illuminate the silent struggle that many endure, and underline the importance of compassion, understanding, and open conversation about mental health.

Through her, we understand that even in the face of darkness, we must cling to hope and strive to support one another. Through her, we learn that love persists, even when the person we love is beyond our reach.

Today, we remember Linda LaLuz not only for the sorrow surrounding her departure but also for the joy, warmth, and love she brought into our lives. Her spirit continues to live within us, guiding us and reminding us of the power of unconditional love.

To everyone who has been touched by the tragedy of suicide, you are not alone. Together, we can turn our grief into action, support one another, and work tirelessly to raise awareness about mental health.

In memory of my mother and in honor of everyone affected by suicide, let's stand together, foster a community of compassion, and strive for a world where no one has to feel alone in their struggle.

With love and remembrance,

Misael Quiles

In memory of my mother, whose love was as vast as the sky, and whose spirit continues to guide us like a star in the night. Her strength is our foundation, her memory, our inspiration. In her honor, we continue to love deeply, live fully, and lend a hand to those in need. Forever in our hearts, always in our actions.
