In Remembrance of Kirk Blythe
1993 - 2018Kirk Blythe was my classmate and could always make you laugh. He had this way of lighting up the room. He was a sweet person. He was in JROTC and later a corrections officer. My heart goes out to his wife and two kids. Remember you are worth it. If you don’t feel like you are please get help and find a supportive group. We all fall down sometimes, we can get up and carry on. Love and hugs to everyone who has lost a fantastic person in their life. With this I leave you my poem.
We are tough, we are brave
We will win, til the grave
We won’t budge, won’t back down
Standing firm, to the ground
Here we come, we aren’t shy
Hear us coming, battlecry
All together, we unite
Cannot deny us, here’s our might
We will never quit, never fail
Through the storm, the rain, the hail
Muddy boots soaked through
Shake it off, it’s time to move.
