My beautiful boy Jared,

My mind is flooded with memories of the short time we had together. Being your mother is a gift I never could have imagined. You lived your life to the fullest, bringing laughter, joy, kindness and love to those around you. Your sincerity and genuine nature, friendships and loyalty are admired by so many, a lesson for all of us. 

The battle you fought with your own mind finally won. You are at peace now, my sweet angel. I miss you more every day and hold on to the smile on your face and the love in my heart. If only...  Life will never be the same without you, but I thank you for letting me share yours with you for the short time we did, for the time together, and for the love that is unlike any other between a mother and child.

Be at peace, Jared, no more pain, suffering. Know that so many miss you and love you. I know you are still with me/us. You will always be with me. I love you, my son.
