You were the best friend anyone could ever ask for; constantly calling and checking-in on others to make sure we were winning our battles, meanwhile you were struggling with your own. The selfish part of me desperately wants you here, while the selfless part knows that you are safe and no longer in pain. You have taught me the most valuable lessons in life: never take anyone for granted - cherish those around you, don't just tell someone that you love them - actually do it, and always be kind for your actions have a lasting impact.
