Today marks 2 months since the most painful day of my life. You are loved. We didn’t make it to forever together, but we will live through your memories. Thank you for sharing 39 unforgettable years with me. I wouldn’t take any moments back or redo anything except Oct 16th, 2023 at 0636AM. I know I’ll probably never know why, but I hope that I can find peace soon and allow you to rest peacefully. I am sorry I didn’t respond to your cries for help, had I known, I would have been there. I love you, Emerson. Forever and always. You were a great father, brother, son, uncle, friend, and Marine. The impact that you’ve left on everyone’s life can never be erased. I pray that you have found the peace that Earth didn’t give you. It’s been hard trying to keep our family together, but you leaving so abruptly hasn’t helped. 2024 I’ll try a little harder. Anyway - rest easy Greasy!
