In Remembrance of Dylan Rand
1993 - 2024My son was a remarkable man. A beautiful, adventurous, strong, persistent, intelligent, loving man. Whose smile lit up not only the room but also my heart. And he gave the best hugs. He will be missed on this earth, where sin causes so much tragedy and heartache. But I am thankful that Jesus has overcome this world, meeting Dylan where he was, saying, “Rest now, be at peace, no more pain.” And I look forward to the day when I can hold my son’s face in my hands and no longer see the struggle, the tiredness, the pain, but the joyous and beautiful soul that is my son. And he’ll smile, and I’ll know I’m home.
